We are using this engaging and exciting resource to support our Early Years and KS1 learners. This platform boosts addition and subtraction skills to improve quick recall and understanding of number bonds and facts. These are the core foundations of maths which will allow children to become confident mathematicians.
This is a brand new online game developed by the creators of Times Tables Rock Stars.
The children will bring home a username label so this can be accessed at home. Their username will be stuck into their reading records.
It's important that children answer the questions for themselves when using Numbots. We encourage parents and siblings not to answer questions for the user.
Using Numbots little and often will support progress. 5 minutes a day is ideal.
Speed and accuracy are important when it comes to times tables. TTRS is an online resource to support children with their quick recall of times tables and related division facts. It is introduced in Year 2 and continues to the end of Year 6.
Times tables support more challenging calculations such as fractions of amounts, percentages and factors. These are all important skills that children will carry with them throughout life.
Children from Year 2 upwards will all have a unique username and password which will be sent home.
